Founded in 1966 by Major Sugar Smith, the Sugarettes have achieved many state, national and world championships. Although the team has enjoyed much success, the foundation and heart of the Sugarettes is what sets them apart.

Congratulations Sugarettes for winning the 2007 U.S.A. National & World Open Junior Halftime Show Twirl Team competition! The team also was awarded for the best overall halftime team in terms of overall theme, age-appropriateness, production and entertainment.
